There is a Chinese saying, "reading thousands of books is not as good as walking thousands of miles." Well, I love both.

Socially Responsible Investments
With so many of you thinking about investing, why not invest in something that helps make our world greener??
I just did a google search about this, and there're lots of website about this. And the returns are not bad, according to the programme, it's about 20% per annum.
Really worth thinking about.
The problem is-- it is significantly less than most of other equity funds. Much more than savings in the bank account, but is the risk worth it? Hmm...

Two pieces of news (from Mirror.co.uk)
1. THREE universities have teamed up with the maker of Grand Theft Auto to offer degrees in computer games.
Students will graduate with a Master of Science degree from Bradford, Hull or Sheffield Hallam.
But PlayStation and XBox games addicts need not apply - unless they already have a first class honours degree in physics, maths or computer programming. (!)
Dr Jon Purdy, director of games studies at Hull University, said: "Those hoping to play lots of games on the course will be disappointed."
2.NEW technology is making us forgetful, a survey has found. The under-30s, who rely on phones, BlackBerrys and ipods to store information are the worst.
Only one in three could name four telephone numbers of friends before they had to look it up. (Oh!! Me!!)
And a worrying five per cent of under 30s could not even remember their home address. But the over 50s did the best - recalling six numbers.
Prof Ian Robertson, expert in neuropsychology, said: "People are relying on technology for their memory. But the less you use your memory the poorer it becomes."

I'm back!!
Here's a photo for you to guess, where did I take this photo and video? (you may need to tilt your head to watch it. =P)
A bit shaky, coz I took this in secret with my phone...
Of course this is not just a shopping mall...
My conclusion after the whole trip is that Chinese have invaded the Western world. =P Back in my first trip to Europe a few years ago, most people greeted every Asian with Konnichiwa. Now people greeted me with "Ni Hau" or even the Cantonese version. And Chinese instructions (traditional and/or simplified version) are available everywhere. And you see more Asians in many places than white people even in New Zealand...
