that's why I used a lot of time trying out sensors for the tap the first time I used it... I felt so stupid...
but those panels, you really need to move the whole panel in, not just touch, so today I got two bruises on my knee trying to get the tap running... I think it's a pretty poor design, I think pedals are more preferable if one wants to use their lower limbs to turn the tap on. =P

You need to press that metal panel under the sink (the one marked water) to turn it on...
i guessed so too, but panel just doesn't look like it's a button or a switch...
