Sexual discrimination is still prevalent in Hong Kong.
EVERY single time someone tried to guess my job, they start with nurses, teachers, today someone even guessed acupuncturist after they exhausted a whole list of these "female" jobs... It is still ingrained in people's mind that certain jobs are for men, while certain are for women.
Why can't they think I'm in the IT business or a policewoman, or whatever?!

Everytime I told others that I worked in a hospital, they inevitably guessed that I am a nurse
Even when I am in a hospital, wearing a doctor's gown with my stethoscope hanging from my neck. Patients still called me nurse
